Your personal web page must be non-commercial and 2MB or less. Design, creating, and posting are the responsibility of the customer, not Blue Ridge Internet's.

Here are the instructions to upload your page:

1. Go to a DOS prompt
2. Change to the directory that contains your files (ex. cd \htdocs)
3. Type "ftp bones.brinet.com"
4. Key in your userid when prompted
5. Key in your password when prompted
6. Type "cd /public_html"
7. Type "bin"
8. Transfer each file using the following command: "put filename.ext"
9. Type quit

Note: where ever it says "your userid" it means the 1st part of your e-mail address (not the @brinet.com part)

To view the page, use the following URL "http://www.brinet.com/~userid"

Also, your first page MUST be named index.html.

Note: You will be transferring your files to a UNIX host. This means that all filenames are CASE SENSITIVE. If you have a web page that refers to document TEST.html it MUST be named TEST.html, not test.html or test.HTML, etc. This may be a little tricky at first. I generally use all lowercase for consistency.
